Esther Virginia Allen

b. March 20, 1932

Jackson

Esther Virginia Allen entered her heavenly home on July 28, 2023, at her Jackson, Tennessee residence with her loving family at her side at the age of 91.

She was born on March 20, 1932, in Trezevant, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charlie Mabry and Nena Argo Hames

Esther had a diverse and fulfilling career. She started her professional journey at the Milan Arsenal in Milan, Tennessee. After dedicating herself to raising her three children with love and care, Esther embarked on a new chapter of her life. She spent over twenty years employed at Wal-Mart and retired at the remarkable age of 80.

One of her proudest accomplishments was her unwavering commitment to God and Country. Esther's faith was an integral part of her life; she valued her connection with God deeply. For many years, she was an active member of White's Chapel Baptist Church where she found solace and strength within her church family. Esther's passion for gospel hymns led her to participate wholeheartedly in singing the "Good Old" classics that resonated with her soul.

She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her loving husband of fifty years, James Hallie Allen. In their time together, they shared countless precious moments and built a strong foundation of love.

Esther leaves behind cherished memories for generations to come. Her daughter, Tasha Allen Turnbow and husband Larry of Jackson, TN; her daughter, Ginger Allen Regen and husband Kendall of Burns, TN; son, Byron James Allen of Jackson, TN; granddaughter, Amber Lipford and husband Todd; grandson, Grant Turnbow and wife Rachel; granddaughter, Hannah Beasley and husband Dean; granddaughter, Kelsey Dotson and husband Rusty; great-grandchildren Hadley and Saylor Turnbow, Brooks, Aiden, and Elliston Beasley, as well as Beckett and Remi Dotson, will treasure the love and guidance she bestowed upon them.
