Eric William Reini

June 4, 1973 — October 6, 2025

Jackson

Eric William Reini was born on June 4th 1973 to parents George and Janet Reini. He was the oldest of 5 siblings.

During his school years, he enjoyed playing soccer. His love of soccer followed him to Cedarville University where he played college soccer and studied Math and Education. Cedarville University was where he met his wife, Diana. They were married on June 29th, 1996. Together, they had 7 children and were married for 29 years. Eric was a faithful husband and dedicated father. He loved his family with everything that he had.

Eric pursued a career in education where he taught in public and private schools ranging from middle school through college over the span of 30 years. He loved each of his students dearly and dedicated countless hours to mentorship over the years both in and out of the classroom. He believed in meeting each student where they were at and helping them to succeed, regardless of age, ability, or life circumstance.

Eric loved watching sports, specifically football. He was a ride or die Ohio State Buckeyes fan, a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan; and he enjoyed family game day traditions of gathering for food and fellowship.

Most importantly, Eric was a follower of Christ. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a faithful member of Cornerstone Community Church for many years where he attended and served in various ministries alongside his wife and children.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Reini, and his son, Daniel James Reini. He is survived and celebrated by his wife, Diana; children, Petra Grace Reini, Katriella Joy Pittman, Makiah Rose Reini, Karissa Leigh Reini, Eleanor Ann Marie Reini, and Titus William Reini; son-in-law, Jeremy Hunter Pittman; grandchildren, Aiden Lee Gammon, Elisha Lynette Pittman, and Chandler Eric James Pittman; mother, Janet Reini; siblings, Noelle Sautter (Chris), Seth Reini (Stephanie), Megan Corbe (Adam), and Bethany Reini; father-in-law, Robert Thompson; mother-in-law, Cynthia Thompson; along with nieces, nephews, and extended family members both through blood and through marriage.

His memory lives on through the many lives he impacted through teaching and in each of his children and precious grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Cornerstone Community Church.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
