Doris Jean Patton Coburn, a cherished daughter of the late Tom Mitchel and Flossie Lain Patton, was born on March 19, 1932, and departed peacefully on March 1, 2026, at Alamo Nursing facility in Alamo, TN.

Doris's commitment to her career was exemplified in her many years of service as a secretary within the Jackson Madison County School System. Her work was more than a job; it was a testament to her belief in the power of organization and the importance of supporting educational institutions.

One of ten Children, Doris's heart was always closest to home. She was a beloved Aunt to twenty-two nieces and nephews, whose lives were deeply enriched by Doris's love and companionship.

In her later years, Doris made her home at Alamo Nursing and Rehab, where she continued to touch the lives of those around her with her enduring smile and gentle spirit. She was a friend to many, offering a listening ear and words of wisdom that were both comforting and inspiring. Doris's presence was a reminder that the essence of life is found in the connections we make and the love we share.
