David Lee Porrier, 69 of Saltillo, TN. He was born on June 30, 1956, and passed away on February 24, 2026. David passed away in his sleep and woke up in the arms of our Lord and Savior. He was at the Decatur County Nursing home recovering from a stroke.

He was a member of Enville Baptist church for 34 years and a devoted Christian. He served the Lord in any way he could. He loved Jesus, his family, and doing for other people when he was able. A friend to all who needed one, he tried to be what Jesus taught: to love all. Three things guided him were Jesus, Family, and Church. He will be missed by all that loved him.

He is survived by his brother, Lewis Porrier of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Brenda Jones (Steve) of Hernando, MS and Patty Sutton (Jim) of Church Hill, TN; five nieces; four nephews; one great niece, five great nephews; two great-great nephews; one great-great niece; and many cousins and friends that loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Hilda (Osborne) Porrier; sisters, Marilyn Taylor and Bobbi Millner; and nephew, John Strauser.

A funeral to celebrate David's life will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2026, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 11:00-11:30 a.m. prior to the service. The burial will follow the service at Enville Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Joey Drake officiating. Following the burial, there will be refreshments and fellowship at Enville Baptist Church.

Pallbearers include Ray Osborne, Jim Sutton, Lewis Porrier, Robert Osborne, Austin Phinney, Rex Osborn, Scott Davis, Jimmy Webb and Jerry Webb.
