Danny L. Adkins, Sr., 68, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2018 in Maryville, TN. He was born in Jackson and graduated from Southside High School in 1969, where he also played football. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved music and wasa very talented musician. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Glenda (Dyer) Adkins, a son, Danny L. Adkins, Jr., daughter, Melissa Barco Chavez, daughter Delores Eltanbouli, and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Hattie Tims, and three brothers. SERVICES: The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
