Corinne Walker Davis, 89, died on Monday, February 04, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born in Trenton, TN on November 3, 1923, the forth child of six to the late David and Buena Grimes Walker. She attended Brazil High School and was married to Wibbie Adrain Davis, an Elder Deacon of Englewood Baptist Church, who preceded her on February 2, 2005, after sixty-two years of marriage. She was employed with Porter Cable and retired in 1987 after more than twenty years of service. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church since 1962, where she attended the Bethany Sunday school class led by Bobby Evans and was a member of the Ball Club. Corinne is survived by her son, Dennis Davis and wife Janice of Jackson, TN; six grandchildren, Deb Perez and husband Efren, Justin Davis and wife Tabatha, Krystal Schreiner and husband Chris, Jenny Piacentini and husband Steve, Ashley Boyd and husband Arlan and Alan Davis and wife Brandy and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Wayne Davis at age three and Phillip Ray Davis and a daughter, Linda Davis Nunnery. The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to Englewood Baptist Church, 2267 N. Highland Ave., Jackson, TN 38305. Services: Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Dr. Philip Jett and Dr. Brent Lay officiating.
