Connie Maria Perkins, passed away peacefully in her home in Jackson, Tennessee, on July 3, 2026, at the age of 73, Surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on December 23, 1952, in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Albert and Lila Mae Taylor Hall. She was a proud graduate of South Side High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader and later Jackson State Community College receiving an associate’s degree of Applied Science in Radiology technology, which she would use as a technician at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital and later the Jackson Clinic.
Connie’s roots ran deep in the community she cherished throughout her life. She was known for her warm spirit and her unwavering devotion to family and friends. Her life was centered around family and friends. She loved taking care of her family and being a part of their activities. She never met a stranger and that showed through her involvement through church and socializing at the gym during her "workouts.” Traveling to many parts of the world with her husband, Stan who brought immense joy to her life. One of her proudest achievements Lesleigh, who wasn't just a daughter, but a best friend.
Connie, and her gentle presence enriched the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. Through the years, she navigated life’s milestones and challenges with remarkable grace and resilience. Those who spent time in her company often remarked on her generosity, the sincerity of her words, and her gift for making everyone feel valued. Connie’s enduring legacy is reflected in the countless relationships she carefully nurtured, always offering encouragement and unconditional support.
SERVICES: A time with family and friends to honor Connie’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Adam Dooley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. All who knew Connie, or whose lives she touched, are invited to attend these services in remembrance of a remarkable woman.
