Charles Robert Colley, age 78, a respected member of the community and dedicated family man, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and service. Born on Monday, June 16, 1947, in Fulton, Kentucky, Charles enjoyed a fulfilling career as the Vice President of Farm Credit Services of Middle America. Known for his unwavering commitment to helping others, he was a man of deep faith and valued integrity in both his personal and professional life. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Charles was born on June 16th, 1947, in Fulton, Ky to the late John B. Colley and Charline Oliver Colley. He was a 1965 graduate of South Fulton High School, and a 1969 graduate of the University of Tennessee. After earning his degree in Agriculture Business, he began a career with Farm Credit Services where he dedicated over 30 years. Throughout a distinguished career, Charles was highly respected and served as a guiding light for many, shaping the careers of countless young talents throughout his tenure.

Charles was proud of his many accomplishments, including a transformational trip to Israel that greatly impacted his outlook on life. His passions extended into various interests, notably wood working, where his craftsmanship created lasting pieces cherished by his family and community. Many of his fingerprints are scattered throughout the North Jackson Church of Christ, illustrating his dedication to the church he loved deeply.

Above all, Charles cherished his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Kathy Colley, one daughter, Gina Wilson and husband Richard Wilson in Chattanooga, TN, one daughter Nichole Duck and her husband Jason Duck of Charlotte NC, one step daughter Paige Edwards of Nashville, TN, one step daughter Jennifer Templin and husband Chris Templin of Hermitage, TN, 5 grandchildren, Caitlyn Pierce, Regan Fritts, Bennett Wilson, Grant Duck, and Isabella Duck; and 3 great grandkids Cason Fritts, Kyler Fritts, and Parker Pierce; several nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Jerilyn and Kenny Wade, his sister Carolyn Grogan, and his parents.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the North Jackson Church of Christ, located at 2807 US-45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305, starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.

Charles's spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire those he touched throughout his life.
