Cathy Cooper, age 61 died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at her home in Jackson, TN. A native of Jackson, TN, she was born on January 30, 1955, the daughter of Geraldine Herndon Akins and the late Horace" Sluggo" Doyle. A lover of life and friend to everyone, Cathy was a very joyous person that loved her family. Her favorite pastimes included fishing, dancing, and cooking. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Larry Cooper of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Cathy Michelle Tuten and husband Everett of Jensen Beach, FL and Mendy Macho Solrzano and husband Gerardo Andres of Port Saint Lucie, FL; her mother, Geraldine "Betsy" Akins of Jackson, TN; a brother, Gerry Doyle of Jackson, TN a sister, Diane Taylor of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Heather Carraway, Everett Frank "E.J." Tuten, Jr., Madison Presley and Caleb Michael Anderson and two great grandchildren, Emma Grace Carraway and Connor Dyson Carraway.
