Bret Allen Jowers

December 10, 1972 — April 27, 2023

Bret Allen Jowers of Humboldt, TN departed this life on Thursday, April 27, 2023, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Although he was taken from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for everyone he met.

Bret was born to Regina McCaslin Cook and Dean Jowers on December 10, 1972, in Union City, TN. He worked as a truck driver for South Eastern Freight for many years, traveling all around. Not only did he love driving his truck for work, but he loved driving his motorcycle even more. Bret loved to ride his motorcycle. It was his true passion. He was a proud member of American Patriot Vanguard, MC, which meant he was an advocate for the American culture of citizenship, service, and responsibility. Riding motorcycles with his friends was always a great day for him.

His personality was magnetic! Anyone that came around him was drawn to his amazing personality. It’s almost as if others knew his kind heart just by speaking to him briefly. It seemed like anywhere he went, he knew someone there. Every single person that he met felt the love that he had for them. Especially, his family. Bret loved his family deeply and never missed an opportunity to enjoy spending time with them.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Rachel Hardy (Jacob), Dylan Jowers (Jase), and Madison Jowers (Katy); mother, Regina Cook (Bubba); father, Dean Jowers (Regina); grandchildren, Benton Hardy and Fisher Hardy; grandfather, Pete McCaslin; siblings, Stacy Sampson (Andy) and John Cook (Allie); step-siblings, Justin Muse (Kelly) and Kim Johnson; nieces, Alissa Sampson (Jonalek), Alona Axtell (Austin), and Aleigha Sampson; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Magdalene “Maggie” Jowers; grandfather, Carl Jowers; and grandmother, Edna Sue McCaslin.

A celebration of life will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023, at Vanguard MC Clubhouse (191 Milan Hwy, Bradford, TNN 38316).
