Betty S. Miller, 92, the widow of James E. Miller, went to be with Jesus on Monday, January 15, 2024. She is survived by a son, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three sisters. Betty was a long-time resident of both Union City and Jackson, Tennessee. For her final years she resided with her family in Whitsett, NC. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two brothers, and two sisters. After graduation from Nashville Business School, she had a career in company payroll until her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, dining out, crossword puzzles, Facebook, driving through the country and, above all, spending time with friends and family. Betty will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted friend, a caring benefactor to those in need, and a person with a kind and personable disposition. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at Arrington Funeral Directors in Jackson, TN on Saturday, January 27th at 3:00 PM. Visitation with family will be from 2-3:00 PM at the same location.
