Bertha Dell (Bomar) Wimberly, of Jackson, TN, passed away June 8, 2022, surrounded by her family at the age of 92. She loved her family dearly and was a devout Jehovah Witness, who loved telling others about the Bible. She was always the first one to help when someone was in need. Bertha is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Waymon Wimberly; sons, Eldon (Bonnie) Wimberly of Camden, TN, Mike (Donna) Wimberly of Jackson, TN, and Gary (Lisa) Wimberly of Arlington, TN; daughters, Patsy Wimberly Parker of Paris, TN and Debbie (Tim) Wimberly Scruggs of Iuka, MS; brother, Joe (Gerry) Bomar of Chandler, AZ; sister, Mary Denman of La Mirada, CA; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, plus a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph & Eunice (Farrar) Bomar of Camden, TN; brothers, Ray Bomar, Charles Bomar, Gordon Bomar, and Glen Bomar; sisters, Camilla Brewer and Nancy Bomar; grandson, Christopher Wimberly; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Wimberly Yates and Rhett Wooden; and son-in-law, Ralph Parker.
