Bertha King, age 82, died August 30, 2021, at the home of her daughter. She was born March 3, 1939, in Hackleburg, AL, the daughter of the late Floyd and Ora Cleveland Anglin. Her career was being a homemaker and raising her family. She is survived by a son, Danny King (Julie); daughter, Cathy Pennington (Gerald); three grandchildren, Mary King, Quinn King and Daniel King; great-grandson, Robert Lane Hamilton; sisters, Faye Terry, Shirley Rayburn, and Ann White; and one brother, William Anglin. Other than her parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bobby King; son, Steve King; grandson, Robert Hamilton; sister Lorene Jarnagin; brother Hughdon Anglin; and her very special friend of recent years, Garvin Phillips. SERVICES: A Graveside service will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 12:00PM at Marshall County Memory Gardens in Benton, KY.
