Becky L. Turcotte, age 43, died peacefully at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS on Saturday, November 27, 2021, after a short illness. She was born in Jackson, TN on June 8, 1978, the daughter of Ashley S. and Patricia Ann Tuberville Johnson. Becky attended the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Mu Chapter. She later attended the University of Memphis, Bethel University and East Oklahoma State University receiving her masters degree. Becky was employed as a program Director for East Mississippi Correctional Facility in Meridian, MS. She loved going to Disneyworld and was always ready to plan a trip there. She also enjoyed doing crafts and reading. She is survived by her parents, Ashley and Patricia Johnson of Jackson, TN and her brother, Ashley S. Johnson, Jr. (Andrea) and her niece Katy Lynn Johnson all of Medina, TN. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Poplar Heights Baptist Church, with Rev. Richard Bragg and Rev. Phillip Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Poplar Heights Baptist Church.
