Anthony ?Tony? BrittainFuneral services for Tony Brittain, 55, will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday September 6, 2010 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Jeff McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in a family cemetery in Spring Creek, TN. Mr. Brittain died Thursday September 2, 2010 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. He was born March 11, 1955 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Cledeth Ray ?Bud? Brittain and Ruby Louise Smith, who survives. He was a member of Love and Truth Church, enjoyed pottery and also enjoyed working with outdoor flowers and plants. Tony loved his family and is survived by his wife Lisa Brittain of Medina, TN; his mother Ruby Louise Smith of Jackson, TN; a son, Nathan Brittain (Sarah) of Medina, TN; a step-son Jesse Burks (Cassie) of Medina, TN; a daughter Rebecca Brittain of Medina, TN; a step-daughter Laura Burks of Spring Creek, TN; two sisters Lona Murdaugh of Medina, TN and Mona Langley of Jackson, TN; two grandchildren Mary Grace Brittain and Hannah Beth Brittain. He was preceded in death by a sister Ruby Lydell Brittain. The family will receive friends Sunday September 5, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and Monday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
