On November 11, 2025, Andrew J. Walker entered his eternal heavenly home after a brief illness at TriStar Centennial Children’s Hospital in Nashville, TN, surrounded by his loving parents and family, and leaving behind treasured memories for all who knew him.
Andrew JiaHao Walker was born on May 20, 2003, in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, and brought home to his forever family in April, 2008, where he brought joy and warmth to the lives of those who knew him. He was a bright soul who graduated from Trinity Christian Academy in 2023, and found great fulfillment in his career in the food industry, employed with Creative Dining Services at Union University, after previously working with Snappy Tomato Pizza.
Andrew’s life was a testament to his love for people, especially his family and friends. He was known for his cheerful, sweet demeanor and an infectious enthusiasm for life. An ardent supporter of the Memphis Grizzlies, Andrew enjoyed cheering for his team, and his passion extended to playing basketball and working out at the gym. His leisure time was often spent indulging in video games, particularly enjoying the adventures found in Super Mario. He also had a special fondness for Asian cuisine, with outings to indulge in his favorite dishes marking the highlight of any day. Andrew was always ready for a trip, and some his most favorite times were spent traveling with family and friends to various locations in the United States and Europe.
Andrew’s faith played a significant role in his life. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church where he contributed to the community with a spirit of kindness and generosity.
He is survived by his loving parents, Dr. Brian and Kim Walker; his siblings, Megan, Joseph, and Emily Walker; his beloved maternal grandmother, Annie Belle Norvell; his paternal grandparents, Dr. Larry and Pat Walker; aunts and uncles including Cory Walker, Jason and Dani James, Isaac and Darla Walker, Dr. Carrie Walker, Dewayne & Amy Norvell, Ron and Candy Norvell, Reggie and Melody Norvell, and numerous precious cousins and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Fellowship Bible Church in Jackson, TN, followed by a Funeral Service to honor Andrew’s life at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Eugene Brandt and Pastor Ron Norvell officiating. A private burial service for the family will follow.
Pallbearers for the service will be Adam Norvell, Conner Norvell, Ethan Norvell, Evan Norvell, Gavin Walker, and Ezra Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin James, Ethan Walker-Zeck, Ronan Walker-Zeck, and the Walker-Andre Home Group “Kids” of Fellowship Bible Church.
Andrew’s life, though brief, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his family rejoices in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord.
