Aaron Ingalls passed peacefully into his eternal home on Saturday, April 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
With a fearless heart and an enduring passion for life, Aaron chased each day with purpose, courage, and unrelenting enthusiasm. He always looked at life as an adventure.
His favorite adventure, Aaron's greatest joy was his family. He shared a deep and abiding love with his beautiful wife, Kathleen, and their three children, Ellie, Jack, and Lily. The warmth and affection they shared was unmistakable. Together, they brought light and life into every room they entered.
Aaron had recently earned his private pilot's license, was coaching both the men's and women's golf teams at USJ, and continued to compete at the highest levels of amateur golf. Among his many accomplishments, he proudly won the Tennessee State Amateur in 2018 and the 2024 Tennessee Mid-Am Four Ball. Aaron was a familiar and respected presence at elite Mid-Am tournaments across the country.
Aaron graduated from Gardendale High School in 2004 and from Lambuth University in 2011. It was at Lambuth where he grew into the man so many came to admire. He began as a football player alongside his brother, Bob, and later found his true calling on the golf course. Though naturally gifted with power, Aaron's success came from his relentless work ethic, humility, and desire to improve not only as a golfer, but as a teammate and friend.
In 2010, while still a collegiate golfer, Aaron came remarkably close to winning the Tennessee State Open. He built lasting friendships at Jackson Country Club and Spring Creek Ranch, where he also earned the title of club champion.
Beyond the course, Aaron was a gifted builder and entrepreneur. He co-founded Ingalls Construction and Pro Fence and Deck with his brother, later serving as a project manager. His work ethic, integrity, and eye for craftsmanship left a lasting mark on all he built.
Known to many as "BTCAaron," he was also a passionate and respected member of the Bitcoin community, where his curiosity and conviction earned him the admiration of many.
Aaron faced his diagnosis of grade 4 astrocytoma with extraordinary courage, intelligence, and grace, never once complaining. Given a harrowing prognosis, he and Kathleen, alongside their families, pursued every possible avenue in search of hope and healing. This journey took them across the globe, from El Salvador and Honduras to Mexico and California. As with everything in his life, Aaron met this challenge with fearlessness and discipline with his family faithfully by his side every step of the way.
The outpouring of love from friends, family, and even those who had never met Aaron has been nothing short of extraordinary. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the generosity and financial support shown during his battle. It brought Aaron great comfort and lifted his spirits in ways words cannot fully express.
Aaron is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen Law Ingalls; his cherished children, Ellie James, Jack Aaron, and Lily Bea; his parents, James and Cathy Ingalls; his sisters, Candice French and Courtney Cornutt (Josh); his brother, Bob Ingalls (Lydia); grandmother, Brenda McCormick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of Aaron's life will be held at Lambuth Chapel on the campus of Lambuth University, the very place where he and Kathleen were married, on May 9, 2026. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. All who wish to share memories or words are warmly welcomed. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Aaron Ingalls Foundation.
Aaron will be deeply missed and forever remembered. His life, marked by love, determination, and unwavering faith, leaves a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
